It's often easy to shrug it off, but there's a risk. Being a victim of a data breach increases your chances of being targeted by criminals and scammers. Detective on killer Michael Ross' defence team now believes he is guilty

Waiter Shamsuddin Mahmood, 26, was shot in the head at point-blank range as he served customers in an Indian restaurant in Kirkwall in 1994. But it took until 2008 for Ross - who was just 15 at the time of the murder - to be convicted of the killing and jailed. How X's new location feature exposed big US politics accounts

Users on the social network seized on examples of pro-Trump accounts that posted about US politics, but which turned out to be based outside the US. Posts from some of the accounts have attracted millions of impressions - views, likes, reposts and replies - which can result in payment from X.
